SpeedyB64
Looking good so far. I would try making some new high detail buildings though (tileset style so they can be built any size and have open areas like the pit buildings).
PrometheusTS
Looking good so far. I would try making some new high detail buildings though (tileset style so they can be built any size and have open areas like the pit buildings).Infact at least 4 of the skyscrapers u see there are buit like this with the Pitt tilesets , but made tall tall buildings I plac to make a whole avenue like that and something around may be Central park touch most of the other buildings are scenery so are holed on some sides that is why it needs to be preplanned a bit the appearence and the facing of those ones to not allow to see holes in the Beth Buildings , as for custom other builds I have no time for it I am afraid , but I think with creative use of the premade Beth buildings thereis so much stuff there that u can reassemble to virtually create infinite possibilities , I am laying so far just some layout and main buildings passing with some detailing after .... I will not do any interior or put any door , I ll leave to someone that wants to play with the work for this ....
PrometheusTS
Here is the new file for whoever wants to play a bit with it ... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D6S6SWVPSince yesterday night I started to Lod creation process , what else I need to do to be able to see buildings from distance in the viewer? also what happens if I change later the land or the dislocation of buildings? Also another question is , what happens if I activate a autogeneration for landscape textures and scattered models if I activate it for an alrready manually made place?and how can I eventually go around this area ? SpeedyB64
Unfortunantly LOD can only be done all at once (as far as I know)To make static objects have LOD they need a LOD version of that mesh (usually much lower poly)Also visable when distant needs to be checked off in that object's settings. Gerazzi
Wow, this is really cool! Two things though: 1. What are you going to do with the weapons, will there be any new ones? 2. New Armor? I'd like the Idea of Liberty Armor (like with the statue of liberty's helm on power armor) Only one suggestion:Instead of making a huge water deal, I suggest making large underwater areas that would occur from the surge of water from a tsunami, make it so there are huge puddles because 100 feet in the are pretty much impossible, I can totally see mutated fishes coming out of this project. PrometheusTS
New armor and a new power armor ...  Anyway what do you think so far ? I think its pretty much ready , was thinking to eventually if you like it to make some variations and may be add one with a gasmask too.... http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/5971/33534582.jpg http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/6929/16555006.jpg http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/1681/61076740.jpg http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/1627/78824704.jpg
ElijahHouck
For a door to teleport to NY, just double click on the door located in the wasteland, then check the teleport checkbox, then "Select Reference in Object Window." Select a teleport marker located in the NY WorldSpace. (I think that's all the steps, it's been a while)I have a pretty cool concept of how to get there, if you want to hear it :) . Oh, and I can do interior design if you want. No modeling/texturing experience though.
