First of all Hi to every1 I'm a newbie this is my fisrt message. I've been searching for a forum like this cuz i'd like to make a plugin made by myself :construction: but i've encountred LOOOOAAAADDDS of problems :bye:

 

I'd like to make an armor but I don't know how to do this. I've got many ideas and if I could use my fantasy probably I would make some funny and gorgeous plugins to share with this community. But as I said before I don't know how work and I haven't got any programs to mod. I've got only the Construction Set which was included in Morrowind's Cd.

 

NOW :!: I've understand that I MUST MAKE A TGA FILE that is the Icon.

I'll have to make some NIF and DDS Files.

But Here COMES THE PAIN :angry2: !

Which software can make this Files??? I need this programs so i would be please if anyone makes a link to download this utilities.

 

I'll need a tutorial or a guide because I think that it would be difficult to remember everything. :rip: I would be please REALLY PLEASE if anybody would like to help me. :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:

Welcome to the forums ;) have fun and don't spam. Reading the rules found in the "Forum Announcements" forum at the top would be a good idea too.

 

Well that's quite a lot of questions...

 

Firstly, you don't need to make any of the NIF or DDS files. Insert your Construction Set CD, and go into the Data Files folder. Just copy all the folders from there into C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files and you'll have all the NIFs etc that you need.

 

As for a guide on how to make plugins just go to Help in the Construction Set. Got stuff in there that tells you how to do pretty much everything.
