Dragonborn DLC annoying bug or what? Fast Travel/Travel by boat to Sky

ok, let me get this straight, you have a possible solution that could work to get you to Skyrim or Solsthiem until this bug is fixed by Bethesda or the Unofficial Dragonborn patch, and you admit to not have trying every possible thing that you could think of to solve the problem.

 

Go back ingame and try the coc command, if that fails (not because you think so) then come back

if the coc command doesn't work (after you've tried it) then double check any and all possible mod conflicts, check game and skse patch version.

I have had no problems getting to Raven Rock or back to Windhelm in Skyrim. Went to the docks and caught the ship to Raven Rock where I picked up the quest to go to the temple. I wanted to explore Raven Rock which was a mistake because I picked up 5 side quests just talking to folks. Completed one of them and decided to go back to Skyrim since I had several quests to complete there and was getting ahead of myself with Dragonborn quests. I went back to the docks, talked to the captain and caught the ship back to Windhelm no problem. One thing I did do was cleanup Dragonborn using TES5edit. It is strongly recommend that that be done.

Well i cleaned Dragonborn.esm as suggested but still i have a same issue :S, the worst part is i cant test my mod :S...ofc tested on Solstheim and worked well but i dont want to upload an update for the mod if on Skyrim will have the bugs :S...

I bought Dragonborn but don't play it due to this bug. I want to do a new playthrough but with every workaround for this not working, it's better just to avoid it for me, as good as it looks. Seriously there are dozens of workarounds and for nothing to work, it surprises me it is fairly uncommon. Seems to be if the majority don't suffer it the answer becomes long awaited.

 

I tried Noxman's mod, a clever way I thought to get through the fix, but alas the game it seems doesn't like to load two different worlds in one game. Fast Travel, coc, Ship Travel, Mark and Recall spell (mod), configuring Skyrim.ini MapMenu, Stuck in Sktrim (mod), Gate to Morrowind (mod), deactivating all mods, removing SKSE, removing enb, uninstall - reinstall, updating everything, seriously the sane answer is just to go without it, someday i'm sure it will be fixed, but as of writing this, not even close.

I will never buy another bethesda DLC again. Dawnguard was so bugged I had to use console commands to move through entire parts of quests. Dragonborn's boss fight with Miraak was nonexistent. I had to finish it with commands because he just stood there with an eight of health each of my four reloads and did nothing in etheral form. Finally I gave up and coded my way to the end of it. Also had to code during several parts of getting to the next chapter to the deadra and back and had to coc whiterun out of there. Then I had to do it again on the book path to Miraak. All I can say is THANK GOD I am playing on PC. I feel really sorry for all the console players that can't code their way out. Bethesda is out for money. When they have game breaking glitches, that is just WRONG. Also, I have to turn off Dragonborn (which will stay off from now on since I can't even boss fight at the end and it's truly short and stupid and uninspired) or I can't get the first soul to trigger the greybeard quest. That is actually a well known bug and bethesda does nothing to fix it yet is is game breaking and happens in one of the first main quests. The key quest that shows you are dragonborn. And you can't get the soul. What idiot thought of that idea? Did they not even consider that if it is bugged it will break the game? Worst idea ever. Don't introduce a DLC you're not going to test the hell out of with a concept (a dragonborn that steals your souls) that can break the game. Bethesda is lazy. They let PCers do patches for them.

I had to use commands to get that Soul Cairn portal to work out, and I think this happened for me also at the very first playthrough.

Set stage to that opening sequence and then set stage to weird number, not listed at the wiki so that the "to Soul Cairn" text appeared to the portal.

 

For Dragonborn I just had issue with follower army with the first boat, and I managed to get through the loading screen with 2-3 followers.

But now it works just fine even if I take maximum amount of followers with me, so the latest TES5Edit or loosening those BSA's actually fixed the issue. "Didn't unpack, just made them less compressed."
