bradstar77
Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I am sure this is not a new or unique idea but.... What if you could remember everything you learned about the people you meet in skyrim. Maybe just a general set of descriptive terms. Race, relationships they may have with others, whether or not you have met them already or received quests, their religion or organizations they are affiliated with. You can see where I am going with this. I am not a moder but I would assume if this was a completed project it would get lots of looks. It would probably take forever to do something like this but again it would in my opinion be a very clever mod.
Crispyballz
This idea is awesome. But I would prefer to have without it - if you think about it like a Sims kind of thing. I don't want to have termometers about how well I know Ulfric Stromcloak or Astrid, etc. What I do want is that I can ask if I can stay at their house, we can both go and do stuff in town (which would technically be a disguised quest so you wouldnt see it or it would be on miscellenus) and stuff would happen. I could also get a letter when he died from a courier and that there is a funeral. There should be a special funeral for special people but some should be harder to befriend. For example: I dont think General Tullius would get a normal funeral. You'd attend to it and stuff. Not like this is going to happen, because it is too advanced but I'd download it right away IF somebody decides to make it anyway.
bradstar77
I am one to lean towards immersion so any mod I use would be subtle in its approach. I like your idea of being notified of people's deaths. I think just having a more personal experience with npcs would add to immersion. Maybe have a diary that would update as you met people. Then when you target an individual there could be maybe a subtle graphic of sorts which would inform you that there is an entry in your diary for that person. Just a thought. Strokend
It would be interesting to have a little journal item that starts off blank, but fills in information about people and subjects (You'd probably select it from a list and see what you've heard/read on them). In Morrowind, you could ask people about their race, guild, clan, or province, and they'd give you a short paragraph about it. That's the kind of thing I'd like to see in the book. The pages for each subject should include the different opinions from different races or books, as well, so that we can see what the different thoughts on them. Again, using Morrowind as an example: Each race did say different things about the others.
