Hi all,

 

 

I would like include a armor mod inside my mod under construction but i see in the profil :

Real nameUnknown
Last active 23 Feb 2016 12:08PM

how to get permission given that this person is banned and that his last connection to the Nexus mod was on 23 February 2016 ? Can I use his mod and share it without his consent?

Personally, I think a policy needs to be established for these cases where the modders haves moved on and are no longer part of the community. Seems like one could use the assets and give proper credit the author with a caveat: Should the original author come forward with objection the mod would be taken down. Something for the moderators to ponder.

Just feel free to use/modify/port/redistribute all my published mods AS LONG AS

1. Proper credits (including all related authors), as a basic respect.

2. Get the permission from the original author if any (for ported mods)

3. do not make profit

So if you can abide by these rules and get permission from the original modder that invalidate ported from, then you should be able to go ahead.
