saurusmaximus
With a recent update, MO2 now does a check to verify if all installed mods have been converted to form 44 for SSE, it didn't used to. If you load up the mods in question in SSEdit, you can verify if they are indeed form 44, or if they need to be converted.

saurusmaximus
SSEEdit There are tons of videos on YouTube on how to use it, and for what you are doing it's pretty straightforward. Edit: Also, make sure you set it up so it runs through MO as an executable.
