RadeonX Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Hello everyone! I have a small problem with modding sound files in Fallout3. I am working on a personnal sound mod that change most, if not all of the weapons, deaths, and playervoice fxs. My problem is that whenever I try to edit the disntegration (critical laser death), minigun firing sound fx and chinese soldiers (both Vanilla and Anchorage), they are not playing ingame. As in, no sound is played, not even the Vanilla one. I can safely say the problem is not a mismatching file extension, if that helps. Can anyone help me fix this? I can upload the sounds if it helps.
shadowfx78 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 are you using fallout remastered? i had a similar problem and that was the cause.
RadeonX Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 No I'm not using that (can't find it on the nexus, but I'm sure I don't have it). I'll show you my load order for future references. RadeonX Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 (Double post sorry, can't edit the previous one) Welp, I fixed my problem, turns out I had to set the good mono export setting in Audacity, or else it merge the new sound file incoherently.
