Shavar89
Hello,I decided to get back to FNV after a while and with just few mods on, the game just keeps crashing every 5-10 minutes.I'm also using BLACKOUT ENB and NMC largest texture pack, and the fps is great, 60 all the time I guess. Here is dxdiag and mods list.Any ideas on how to fix it? JimboUK
If that's a 1GB card try a smaller version of NMC, NV falls apart when it runs out of VRAM.
Xaranth
How much tweaking have you done with your ini files? Any? Those texture packs can run you out of memory right quick if you don't use the 4gb Enabler, and Fallout, well, doesn't run out of memory gracefully. Shavar89
That's a 2gb card and I haven't done any ini tweaking. EDIT: Its a 64 bit OS, do I still need 4 gb enabler? Edited February 15, 2013 by Shavar89
Xaranth
Have a look at the tweakGuides Fallout 3 guide, particularly the section on threading and memory usage. Since FNV and FO3 use a virtually identical engine, the settings are the same. Also use the 4GB Enabler
