AureliusofKvatch
Hey all, I created a mod that adds a Dwemer tower to the Tamriel worldspace. As it turns out, there is another mod that edits that specific piece of worldspace as well. No real problem, it happens. But it would ve helpful if there was a patch that puts the Dwemer tower somewhere else, so players who might have incompatibility issues could still try out my mod.I have no idea yet where to start, is there anyone that can nudge me in the right direction? Thanks!
cumbrianlad
I'd first like to empathise... this happened with my first and only released mod! I have advocated for a long time that we should have some register to say which cells we were editing in released mods, so that others wouldn't fall foul of this... it fell on deaf ears! Moans aside, I don't know how to move all of your statics elsewhere in a patch. With my player home (part of a massive player home/follower/player horse/quest mod), I just settled on warning players that it conflicted with one player home mod. If they wanted that home, go for it. If they wanted my home and all the rest, go for that instead. Not very satisfactory, though. If anyone can work out how to move all the statics to another site, edit terrain, edit landscape, add all the statics and maybe alter LOD in a click, let me know! AureliusofKvatch
Thanks!Empathy is always welcome.(Is there an empathy mod? How would it work?)Since there are a lot of mods, conflicts are inevitable. And we try to prevent as many as possible. But in the end we can only do as much... but... What is your mod?
