G.E.C.K Problems

Hey Guys and Gals

 

I just got the CS for Fallout3 on my Vista OS and spent a good while making a great base for my small Merc faction (was planning on releasing it for ya) but it wont let me run the mod because wen i go to "Data Files" on the launcher...it aint there :verymad:

 

So if someone could tell me whats goin on with it so i could fix it, this would be very much appreciated

did you install gekc in your fallout 3 folder? did you save the mod into the data files in your fallout 3 folder? did you set the fallout3.ini's blinvalidate to 1? confirm those before posting again

Hmm, Just jumped on my laptop with vista, try this:

C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data

 

And MYUSERNAME should be your username :)

 

Copy any ESPs from there to

 

C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data

 

Note: This only works if you installed the GECK & FO3 to the default locations.
