However, the diagnoser only gives me about 350kb/s, and when I actually download stuff, I get about half as much. Sometimes it goes even lower, to as low as 10kb/s. EDIT: Different files seem to have different speeds, apparently. Some download at top speed while others download at the mentioned 10kb/s speeds. NOTE: Your numerics are correct, but your units of measure are not. Speedtest indicates your connection can sustain a raw d/l throughput speed of about 13 MegaBytes/second (MB/s). Allow for https overhead (~30%) and that's 9.1MB/s (close enough to the "10" you cite.) But you're only seeing ~0.35MB/s (360KB/s ). Thanks for the report. :yes: --TNL

  3. Just wondering if anyone good in modelling could help me edit Insanity's Dragonbane/Sorrow Katana a little? Right now, the blades are literally paper thin, as though they was one dimensional. Turn them sideways, and all you see is a single line, you can't tell the edge from the back. It would really look a lot better if they were thicker, like actual blades are. I'd be really grateful if someone could do this for me.

  6. So, after a mod update, my sheathed weapons seem to be showing in first person. As seen here: http://i.imgur.com/86kedd7.jpg, my sheathed ebony bow pokes out in first person. If I move around while sneaking, I can just barely see the handle tip of my sheathed one handed sword as well. Any idea why? I updated my XPMS Extended, Race Menu, and Realistic Ragdolls + Force, and this happened.

  8. I'm looking for a mod that replaces the weird ass NPC arrow dodge 'slide' into something more natural, like a sidestep duck to the side or at the very least, a roll to the side. Any ideas?
  9. Definitely not a bug, just a really lazy job of implementing it. I'm honestly fine with NPCs dodging your arrows even when you're out of sight(mainly because I'm a save scumming ass). I like to think that they actually hear the bow string twang, and from experience, instinctively dodge. Though, an option like this would be nice too.

  11. You know that thing where NPCs occasionally zip 10 meters to the side instantly when you shoot an arrow at them? Now, I don't really have a problem with NPCs dodging arrows, except that the way it's implemented is so horribly lazy and immersion breaking. They just ZOOM off to the side with no animation whatsoever, and even then, they zoom off so damn far. It looks like the game is literally picking that guy up and sliding him sideways, and it just hurts my eyes looking at the horrible implementation. Now, what I'm requesting is a mod that does 2 things: 1. Reduce the dodge distance by about half or more, depending on the animation. Which leads me to my next point: 2. Add a form of animation to it. It'd be awesome if you make your own animation, like a proper sidestep dodge the way you'd dodge if you got something thrown at you. If creating a custom animation is not possible, even the vanilla sneak roll would make it look a ton better. Here, the distance then depends on what animation is implemented. If it's the dodge roll, the current distance halved seems about right. If it's a sidestep dodge, the distance would simply be about a body's width away. Hope someone really decides to make this, I'd (and I'm pretty sure a ton of other people too) be REALLY thankful.
  12. Not completely sure, but it sounds like a bug with the landscape LODs. Does the 'snow pile' seem weirdly low-res? I've had a similar problem before, where the low res landscape LOD didn't disappear, and simply stayed there as a piece of land that I could walk through, with the real land underneath. Not sure how to fix it though, but this 'diagnosis' might help find a fix.
  13. So, I recently came back to skyrim again with some new mods after a long break. However, on this new playthrough, I've realised that bandits are actually spawning with LOTR weapons, even though the weapons aren't supposed to appear on leveled lists. Anyone have any idea what mod is causing this? Some mods I'm using that I think might potentially be the cause : -OBIS -Perkus Maximus -Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade -A merged patch with TES5Edit
  14. So, the Penal Straightjacket has a horrible visual bug with long-haired characters, causing the bottom 2/3rd of their head to go bald. Any way to fix this? My lost sinner cosplay desparately wants her hair back
  15. Ok so i need a script that adds an item to a formlist. I have only successfully gotten it to work with addformtoformlist when i attach it to an activator, and activate the object in game. However, is there any way to make a script that will run by itself without me having to do anything in game? Possibly as easily as possible, as I will have to do this for quite a few esps.
  16. Thing is, I want a to create a new esp that is dependant on the old esp. What you suggested is what I did, which led to the new esp creating its own version of the edited items
  17. Basically, i tried editing an esm and esp at the same time by opening both and creating a new esp. However, the new esp seems to have created its own versions of the original esp with new item IDs, thus creating duplicates whenever i try to open both of them again. Is there anyway to merge the two esps' items together? If not, what should I be doing to correctly make an esp the master of another esp? Is it possible to just add it as a master using TESVEdit?
  18. Oh, fyi, if you are planning to make the wet salt thing, theres actually already a mesh for a pile of stuff. The Purified Void Salts and Finely Ground bonemeal from Dawnguard has the pile mesh
  19. Perhaps instead of finding salt piles in the bucket, the bucket is open and you can actually pick up the salt piles straight from the bucket? Oh and to make it more realistic, perhaps you could make a new item called Wet Salt, and it has the appearance of a pile of salt except without the bowl. Maybe make it bigger to nicely fit the desalinizer bucket, so it looks like theres a pile of salt left over in the bucket, instead of a few magically appearing bowls which have salt in them. Then, you dry the salt at a fire (cooking pot maybe) with a linen cloth and a Wet Salt, to give you a few piles of salt,maybe 10. The linen cloth is returned afterwards.
  20. If its true about what they say, that the crashing is caused by the calculations of physics, changing vertices wont really matter. If the physics is the problem, i think the only way to fix it is to improve the efficiency of the physics itself
  21. I dont know why but when im in werewolf form, my claws sound as if i were a human swinging my fists around. Though the roars cover it up most of the time, it still sounds really weird having a blunt fist-hitting sound when i hit something. Anyone else experience this? Is this a vanilla bug, or caused by one of my mods?

  23. Easiest way is to just type [help "tame wolf"] into the console without the [ ]'s and see if the first two numbers of its ID is 00 or not. If its not 00, means its added by a mod
  24. Well you could simply just remove the wall from the world if im not wrong. Am i?
