Skyrim - Entire Screen (UI + Game + Etc) Dimming

Hey guys,

In my game, and only during night time the screen will randomly adjust to very, VERY dim. This is the actual game world, along with the UI. So much so that I cannot see anything in the world barely, or the UI. The only way to fix it is to raise my game brightness all the way up, then exit the menu. Then, after a few seconds everything will fade in again.

At first, I thought I had accidentally turned on the Ambient Lighting function on my TV, but nope. Then, I thought it was some kind of bug with CoT and the HDR brightness exposure stuff so I downloaded the mod to remove that as well, nope. It will even occasionally happen on load screens (I believe only when my game is loading during the night) and it only seems to happen when I'm outside (not on an interior of a building).

It's driving me crazy having to adjust the brightness everytime I'm playing at night. Much thanks for any and all help!

Are you using injectors?

No I'm not. I did install ClearENB earilier to see if that would have any effect, but when I started my game everything was black apart from the sky and lights -- probably missing files or something -- so I deleted it.

If you have the D3D9.dll or whatever it's called in your folder, it will need to be removed.

Yes, I did that also. But, this problem was happening before I even installed it in the first place, so it definitely wasn't any ENB files. And the more and more I play, the more I find it's ONLY at night time and seemingly only outside.

No, checked that as well haha. The thing is, I know it has to be something in Skyrim. I've played countless other games on this PC, along with PS3, watched TV, etc. etc. and this never happens unless I'm playing Skyrim. It's very weird. If I load a gamesave that was saved during the night time, it will start dimming as soon as the loading screen pops-up, and then usually pop back to my actual brightness setting once the game loads, then later on auto-dim back to VERY VERY dim. Also, I've noticed when it is "auto-dimmed" and I quit to desktop, my entire desktop will be dimmed for a few seconds. I've searched all over Google for any type of Skyrim auto dim functions, nothing comes up apart from people complaining about the Eye Adjustment FX.
