Dragons dont give souls

[Adaqueril]

I've tested this now with first one save that worked fine, and then all of a sudden dragons didn't turn to bones and gave me their soul.

 

Now one a completely new, save it's happening again.

 

Could someone please try and help me narrow this down to the bastard who made this happen?

That mod right there adds new dragons. The ones that are below level 20 do not give souls. If you check the mod description page, you will find a graphical chart that details whether or not the dragon gives a soul (along with some other information).

 

Next time you do not get a soul from a dragon check the name. If it has a name that does not have the word "Dragon" in it then was added by that mod.

Oh yeah, sorry.

Forgot to say that It's the main dragons that I'm talking about at the moment. Currently I've not yet gotten a single soul, even from the newly started game.

 

I killed Mirmulnir, no soul.

Solved.

Found out that the Unofficial Skyrim Patch caused my problem.

Really strange.

 

Tried to only have the DLCs active + Alternate Start, worked fine, tried with the highresdlcs + Alternate start, worked fine.

Tried with the unofficial patches (except dragonborn) + Alternate start, didn't work. Tried only with Skyrim unofficial patch (of the unofficial patches) + alternate start, didn't work.

Tried with all the above except dragonborn patch and skyrim patch. Worked fine.

 

It's either that the latest unofficial skyrim patch bugged out, or most plausible that it bugs out with the latest version of Alternate start.

Updated with the unofficial DB patch and the skyrim patch + everything else. Worked.
