For some reason I cannot find my Fallout 3 game folder, I can only find the one with the .ini inside of it. I have checked the Bethesda Softworks folder and it is not there. :wallbash:

If you use the default installation path, it will install to C:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3. Did you change the installation path? And does the game actually work when you launch it?

I do not believe I did and yes it works fine

Do you use Vista or XP? If you use XP, right-click on the shortcut to launch Fallout 3, click Properties, then look at the Target bar, it shows the path where the executable is located.

If you use Vista, go to Games, right-click on Fallout 3, then click Customize, click on the first bar, click Edit, then look at the Target bar, it shows the path where the executable is located.

If you haven't changed the installation path, then I don't understand why it isn't at the default location.

Folder permissions can sometimes in Vista cause things to be put in "Users - 'YourUsername' - AppData - Local - VirtualStore' (that's where it was saving my GECK made plugin files because the Fo3 Folder permissions weren't set for my user). Which is annoying seeing as AppData is an invisible folder (click start, then type Folder Options into the search bar, then click view and the click "Show Hidden Files and Folders").

I was going to suggest that! Yes, files from a bunch of my old games (Like Oblivion and FFVII) always end up at the virtual store. However, I never experienced an entire game installing to the virtual store. Strange.

Time goes by fast. We have reached the point in history where Oblivion is called and "old game". *sob* We gonna die soon, you see...
