Geetarbart
I decided to start using Mod Organizer 2 yesterday after I got finally fed up with Vortex about a month ago and now whenever I try to install a mod via Mod Organizer 2 the content from the mod doesn't show up during gameplay. For example, I tried installing several armor mods that I had lost when I purged Vortex and any mods I had installed with Vortex. I installed them with MO2 and I sorted the load order with LOOT (which acknowledged that the mods WERE there and had no errors, I checked that they were enabled on MO2 and in the plugins section of MO2, but when I booted up Skyrim and checked for the armors with the AddItemMenu mod not only did the ESPs not show up, but when I used the search function, even in the console, the armors were not there. They had not loaded and I messed around for about an hour, even starting a new game from a clean save and using the console to get me back to wear my smithing skill was I couldn't craft them and they still refused to show up. I also checked Skyrim's Data folder, which MO2 said that the mods were in, and the mods were not there nor were there any folders associated with the mods. I know I can manually install the mods but I am looking to make MO2 become my main mod manager as it has helped me make sure that mods I download don't bring extra files that I do not need (like optional files I do not want or readme.txt files that I have already read through) that would bloat my hard drive. I have tried everything I can to get MO2 to work. I have reinstalled the mods I tried installing, I reinstalled MO2, I installed MO2 on the same drive as Skyrim, I changed the base directory for MO2, and now I'm half tempted to just reinstall Skyrim in general to see if that fixes the problem. If there is anyone who can help me with this problem please help.
