Hello the modding community! (and thanks for your work, it's awesome)

I played Oblivion and Skyrim vanilla extensively for many years. It's only 2 weeks ago that I started to add mods and got an idea.

I write an epic-fantasy fiction and I think it can be translated into a mod/DLC for Skyrim. However, I don't have the knowledge to do so alone.

1. Are there people here that would be interested in that kind of project?
2. Do you guys know a place/website that you recommend to learn how to mod?

Here is a quick synopsis:

The main NPC (Dante) which interacts with the player is a time-traveler. Dante is not himself affected by changes that he makes in time but things got a bit out of hand on his side and he is at a point now where he desperately needs some help to win over his nemesis.

Dante used his ability to travel through time and space to reach the plan of Mundus. There he tries to find a hero strong enough to help him. Furthermore, since that hero would be from Mundus, he would not be affected by time changes in the plan of Dante.

This quest would bring the Dragonborn to travel with Dante to the plan of Jittai. Jittai is a medieval-fantasy world where god-like lifeforms called entities exist (much like daedric princes).

Dante's nemesis: Faraz is a mage who manipulate the timeline using a ritual to create a form of time loop in which he can live indefinitely. While in that time loop, Faraz experiments on ways by which he can overcome the powers of the entities and make it his own. However, that time loop causes the part of the timeline to which Faraz belong to be uncertain/unsettle.

Dante Goal - Quest Goal :

Dante background story is huge, and I intend to make it accessible to the player though dialogs. To sum up, Dante powers have been enhanced by some of the entities with the duty of protecting the timeline and therefore stopping Faraz time loop. When Dante reach for help in Mundus, he has already identified his foe and lived over 400 years of adventures trying to stop Faraz. However, Faraz has now accumulated so much power and allies that Dante cannot face him alone anymore. Once the questline completed, Faraz will be defeated and Dante will bring back the Dragonborn to Mundus.

But that’s not the real end of the story and more adventures/Quests would be to come after that. This is more like the chapter where the hero from another plan visit for the first time.

Thanks for reading.

Please let me know your opinion, advises, constructive remarks.

Peace out!
