Selene310187
I completed most of the default game plus DLCs and I'm looking for something new, especially quest mods. What can you recommend? They can be mysterious, have a fascinating story, unforgettable characters and locations. I like exploring more than fighting (exploring: 60 %, fighting: 40 %). And no romances, please. (Edit: As taryl80 said below, it's possible to "ignore" a romance in F4) Well, that would be the optimal case. I know that not all mods fulfill these "requirements". So they should at least have a good story to tell . Many thanks in advance  Edited October 24, 2020 by Selene310187
taryl80
Without a romance makes it damn hard. Nearly every huge questmod has by now someone to romance in it, or it least will... I personally like it because most of those characters also are really fleshed out. Also you are never forced to romance someone in f4. You can always say no. Besides that, try to be patient, because exactly like by Skyrim - the huge mods are still in development (but far as I can see - they making great progress). taryl80
Well, I use my f4 playthroughs most of the time for testing purposes. So I haven't really expierence by this, but many people talk positively about "the Bleachers", "Fourville" and of the questmods from the Mod-Author "Thuggysmurf". Can't say how lore-friendly they are, but I bet they are worth a try. Also like as already mentioned, are big mods in work, like F2/F3/FNV remakes in the F4 engine and of course also for completely new landscapes like Miami and even London^^. Selene310187
Thank you for your suggestions. I give them a try. I saw a trailer of Fallout Miami by accident recently and it whet my appetite.

BlazeStryker
I do the FCR/OAR/Depravity/Project Valkyrie set myself. They really do tie together into a far freer way to play the game with a good story. And when compatible mods mix in, you can get some interesting moments. I just repaired my load order and started a fresh set, battling the radroaches in an early location provided by Depravity. I bring it up here because I also run Player Comments and a mod that (among other things) provides vertical awareness to NPCs so that they know what stairs are and use the damned things. *giggle* ANYway, one of the little snots nips my heel, I literally roar as the combat comment, and Harley casually calls down from upstairs, "Should I feel intimidated?" I'm sorry but that's just... legendary. (Oh, it also needed saying here as poor Thuggy had to close the comments section for Depravity what with all the bugs-bitching by guys as fumble-thumbed as I am. Low in the order, guys. You'll thank me later.
