vincentz
Instead of pausing completely every time you enter a menu (spells, inventory, favorites, books etc) then make time slow down. Perhaps to 1/10 of normal time.It would be much more immersive imho, as when fighting and you need a potion, as it is, you can basically just push i, go make some coffee, take a nap, and then return to the game. BrotherBob
I think this would be a great idea. It definitely should be done if not already.@vincentz: While you wait for such a mod, why not pick up a copy of Dark Souls. One of its key features is that you will probably get killed by a PvPer if you expect to be able to hit the menu button and make yourself a coffee without any worries! vincentz
@ BrotherbobIt looks really nice. Does it have a good story or is it more of a hack'n'slash game?@ VectorPlexusThat is EXACTLY what I mean. Besides eating he could have : changed into womens underwear, and later changed into a full set of plate mail armor, then he could have read 3 books, changed weapon 7 times (or more) and make a couple of potions while the opponent would still have a raised sword. TBH I would rather have a 1:1 timescale, but I think it would be too taxing on most systems therefore a slowdown.Another possible way to handle it (though I would much prefer the first) is to add up a "pause" for every action done in those menues. so when exiting the menu, the time drinking a potion f.ex., the character would be "stuck".
