Non-Cannon Fallout 3 Songlist for iPip

SparcMan

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about songs to put in the game with the iPip Player Radio station mod and started making a list of songs I think would go with the game even though they may not be consistent with the 50's theme.

A View to a Kill - Duran Duran

Symphony of Destruction - Megadeth

Land of Confusion - Genesis

Sober - Tool

It's the End of the World as We Know it - REM

Christmas at Ground Zero - Weird Al Yankovic

Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood

Walking on the Sun - Smash Mouth

Hell - Squirrel Nut Zippers

Hero - Chad Kroger

Warriors of the Wasteland - Frankie goes to Hollywood

Feel free to suggest any songs you think would fit either in a direct or humorous way.

personally those wouldnt really fit the themes I suppose well the fallout lore anyway...

heres some good ones.

Eyes of the insane - Slayer (either that or Jihad they have a lot of war themed ones in there and when you think of a warzone you think guns or I do anyway)

Killing is my buisness and buisness is good -megadeth (basiclly for anyone who has that one perk where you can sell peoples ears for cash or crazy folks who just like to blow the hell out of every town in the game)

*insert almost any metallica song in here* - Metallica (a lot of metallica songs would be very fitting...songs like seek and destroy metal milita disposeable heroes...yeah basiclly anything from the kill em all albulm)

a lot of those 50's songs really fit it. they put them in there for a reason. that reason being name typeing...I beleive one of the songs is called setting the world ablaze or on fire (yes im still talking about the 50's music FO3 provides us with) which is fitting cause...well gee...look around...lol

well I guess ill put in one more song... welcoem to the jungle by guns and roses...eh its just something I would expect to see dont really like G&R...

Well i want to add some Coldplay-, as well as some Rocksongs (as contrast to the Ingamesongs) but when i start the Game and choose the IPip Radiofrequence i can't hear anything.

I renamed all songs to track01.mp3 an so on, put the esp file into the Datafolder as well as the other Datafolder, i also tried to delete the brought Datafolder and extracted the Soundfolder into the Data of Fallout 3, but still nothing to hear.

Maybe the Files are to large? They are around 4MB but no idea how to pack them.

Sorry if my english isn't accurate, but i've tried to let it sound as good as i could ^^.

yeah thats probably it give them a bit to load...but now that I think about it Slayer would be perfect for any Ipip list because Slayer not only is possibly the best metal band out there but also for maintince. Slayer likes to keep its songs short they said they dont like repeating riffs so they make the songs as short as possible which is contrast to Metallica whom ive seen have at least 3 eight minute long songs in one albulm. so I would recommend slayer for any list for that other reason.

  • 10 months later...

So it's been about a year and a computer upgrade later and I've decided to dust off Fallout 3 and give it another go (plus expansion packs). So I came up with a list of songs from my mp3 collection:

Die Another Day - Madonna

A View to a Kill - Duran Duran

Symphony of Destruction - Megadeth

Land of Confusion - Genesis

Sober - Tool

Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood

Walking on the Sun - Smash Mouth

Hell - Squirrel Nut Zippers

Another One Bites the Dust - Queen

Firestarter - Prodigy

I Will Survive - Cake

Sabotage - Beastie Boys

Touch of Gray - Grateful Dead

No More Tears - Ozzy Osbourne

Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2

We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister

Who Made Who - Ac Dc

Wild Boys - Duran Duran

Enter Sandman - Metallica

Paint it Black - Rolling Stones

That's 20 songs - perfect for the iPip mod for when I'm out of range of GNR or I want to listen to something different.
