CTD when the main menu pops up

I recently got back into Skyrim once again to have a grand time spending more time modding than playing. I have modded Skyrim for years, and there is always new problems no matter what. I thought that since I dealt with almost every problem and know my way around in modding, it should be fine if I just reinstall all my old mods right? NOPE! Another problem!

 

This CTD isn't caused by a missing master, all .dll's should be up to date, SKSE is correct version, Steam verifies integrity file is correct no problem, sorted all plugins through LOOT, went through every warning/message, got max compatibility between all mods, not passed the 255 plugin limit, and pretty much everything else I could find online.

 

It is a (probably) poor attempt at compressing and optimizing textures and something with BSA archives while using Cathedral Assets Optimizer. After doing that and running a bashed patch, my game crashes after the logo right when the main menu pops up. The wheel is moving, imperial alduin symbol is there, and the enbseries text is there, but when the menu text is about to pop up, BOOM! CTD.

 

I tried everything I could, and I am questioning why I bothered getting the game again. Someone please help!

 

[sOLVED!]

The problem was Paramount: FPS galore mod. It was working fine, but when I ran CAO, the crashes happened. What resembled a missing master CTD was, in fact, probably a messed up texture or mesh.

 

Whoever gets a similar problem, be sure to check out mods like Paramount: FPS Galore that reduces existing textures/maybe meshes.
