Fallout08
I've found that after changing an NPC's race the body seems to keep it's original skin tone instead of updating to the new one. I'm working with Clover in particular, her default race is Asian however I'm trying to make her Caucasian instead. Within GECK her head is Caucasian though her body remains Asian, and in-game her entire body including her head is Asian. Right now what I'm trying to do is create a new NPC with the correct race then transfer the traits and facial features from the old NPC. I've managed to replace the old NPC with the new one, but in-game there are no dialog options that you'd find on a standard companion (trade equipment, etc.), just the default "I should go." She does still follow me as a companion would, however. I figured that this is because the models/instances have switched but all the scripting and ties to the game still belong to the original Clover. Attempting to rename the NPC (Clover --> Clover Backup, New Clover --> Clover) results in Clover's ties to the game being cut, the exact opposite of what I'm trying to do. Is there any way I can accomplish this?
Fallout08
Ha! After a little more tinkering around I found an amazing check box titled "Can be all races." Problem solved. Now I just need to fix the neck/body seam.
