Noswald95
topic is self explanatory, i'm worried that once i'm done making this and stored all my current stuff into the new home. The items would just end up dissapering after a few in-game days.
dubiousintent
You need to check the properties of all "containers" to see if they have the "Respawns" option enabled, and disable it if so. Respawning is what causes a container to lose it's contents by resetting to it's original state after that interval. Also check the "ownership" of the interior cell itself. (Compare to that of other "player homes", including "factions".) -Dubious-

GamerRick
You also want to set the Cell's Encounter Zone to one that has the 'Never Resets' box checked. Then, no containers will ever reset regardless of their setting.
dubiousintent
Good point. Added 'TIP Making Safe containers' to the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article. -Dubious-
GamerRick
Dubious, Do you know what happens when the Encounter Zone is set to NONE? Most interior cells are set to NONE in FNV, whereas FO3 tends to set it to something. I believe that the default would be to never reset, and we only need to change the EZ to one that does for interiors we want to reset. Thanks. dubiousintent
Not something I have ever dealt with. However, based upon my reading of the GECKWiki page, I would presume "NONE" means there is no "Encounter Zone Minimum Level". Consequently I would expect "the player's level is above the zone's", so "only a percentage of the player's level is used. The fLevelScalingMult gamesetting controls the amount." Not apparent to me that "NONE" has anything to do with resetting, as that setting pretty clearly is an "option" to prevent "reset" from occurring. Hence, the EZ cells default appears to be: "reset" after the GMST interval. `"EZs" are a cell grouping mechanism, so they would override individual cell setting values. But that is theory and the wiki is the result of experience colliding with theory, so someone with direct experience may have a clearer insight. -Dubious- Edited November 6, 2020 by dubiousintent
