Strokend
Mostly, these ideas pertain to upgrades seen in Oblivion and Skyrim.I don't expect that all of these ideas are possible, but the more that are possible, and are made, the better I feel the experience will be. A lot of the mods that are possible are probably already made and I just need help finding them. If it is not done, it may mean it is not possible, even with the script extender. While I have some mods from PlanetElderScrolls, I'm planning a complete reinstall, and will hope for some of these in addition to looking through the recommended mods list. Because somebody will probably ask: I do have both expansions, so there's no trouble using expanded coding for it.Here's a list of particular wants to make it easier for anybody with the patience to hunt them down:*Dual Wield Weapons(?) Dual Wielding*Skyrim Crafting Crafting, complete with its own skillsPoison crafting: If all that's available is something to throw them or convert potions into poisons instead, it'll still work.*Player Tasks Actual animated mining and woodcuttingItem physics. I want them to fall, roll, and even be able to be moved around without actually picking them up.Would not mind this being applied to Telekinesis only.NPC schedules. I've already found something like this, but intend to reinstall my game completely and don't know which of my mods did this.*Ownership Indicator (EXPIRED?)Reddened crosshair on owned items, same story. Some sort of identifier for stolen items, even if it's just (stolen) on the end of it's name.SEPERATE stolen and legimate items.*Build Your Own House[WIP] Purchasable, upgradable housing OR build-yourself housing costing materials. A compatible combination would be appreciated, but don't go out of your way on this.Non-sleep levels. I actually use a development that automates level gain anyways, but seeing a dialogue for it would be nice.*Fair Magicka Regen SMART Magicka regeneration--Not just some flimsy "only while awake" regeneration or one that ignores regeneration rate when calculating needed sleep time.*Oblivion Style Vampires Vampirism stages--whether done in Oblivion style or Skyrim style is optional, maybe both dependant on which clan you joined.OPTIONAL: Going off of the clan idea: Aundae may be Skyrim based (heightened magic for immunity to sun damage), Berne Oblivion based. Quarra, in not hinding their strength, could be unmodified.Reverse pickpocketing.Perks. Even if it's through a dialogue opened by using an item, I'd like to see perks.Warped footwear: Although not intentional, if you use a digitigradal foot model in Skyrim, worn boots suddenly get bent to look like they were made for a digitigradal foot. Footwear designed specifically for beasts is a decent alternative.Always hit when on target. Excludes magical flubs.OPTIONAL: fatigue alone still reduces chance to hit; I'd imagine somebody who's tired has trouble attacking with enough force to cause any damage.ALTERNATIVE: Randomly changing "To hit" condition (There are random critical conditions added by some mods).Equipment Improve/Tempering.Persual: Enemies should follow the player through doors and sells, I'd like this to be Skyrim grade where they continue to wander about searching fo the player once they lose sight.*Better Bodies. Better quality bodies. I don't just mean the texture; if it's possible there should even be skeleton improvements.Hand-to-hand weapons: Use the Unarmed skill but do direct damage.Brawls: Upon depletion of fatigue it's restored and the hostility ended.Retrieveable arrows, when they miss.Regional bounty. I can't find the mod I got for this on the Nexus, but basically, guards only know of your crimes if it's from the same faction, minor crimes aren't mentioned to other towns, and (exceptionally) it takes time for news of crimes in one town to travel to another.Possible jailbreak. I believe one mod did this without chance to escape from the moon temple prison thing.Removed ownerships: If your faction rank is high enough, ownerships over certain items and doors should be removed.Werewolf/vampire recognition: I think it'd be useful to be able to tell the guards about your condition and take an oath to use it lawfully in order to not be a criminal for using them, but without telling them it would still be a crime.Since the player must feed as a werewolf when not using the ring, werewolf exposure should not be allowed without it.Werepyre: Even if the method to unlock it is complex, a real way to be able to be both is helpful. An actual combined form would be exceptional grade; I only expect to see the chance to get both conditions properly.*Weathering Weather *Weather Effects Weather effects, exceptional with working shelters; high-grade or doubly-exceptional if compatible with NPC routines to send them inside. Weather effects includes diseases and inhibitors*Thief Experience Overhaul Sneaking in weather--may be easier during a thunderstorm or ash storm.*Light Based Sneaking Lighting effects. Sneak should be penalized when in bright areas, and boosted when in dark areas. Consequentially, Night Vision should help the user see through sneak, but also cause inhibitors or diseases when used in bright areas.Encumbersome armor. Heavy armor should reduce marksmanship and spellcasting. *Armor Effects-WD Sneak & agility penalty.Noisy armor. Armor that should make noise should reduce sneak, especially while moving. Leather armors have lesser "squeaks" and clothing might be entirely silent, but chain armor would crinkle all over. Here's some things I don't want to see:Removal of repairs. I like that armor gets damaged.Removal of crafting tools. Even if crafting is restricted to work stations, I want tools to enhance the results, or to lower them if using lesser grade tools.Shouts. Having a special class of magic that gets applied to a seperate key than primary and secondary is okay, but the Nerevarine is not the Dovahkiin.Shared torso/legs slots. I want clothes under my armor.Removed topics. Yes, conversation gets cluttered, but I like being able to ask about something trivial that I forgot.Permanent waterbreathing. Argonians need to be able to drown, at most I want to see a toggleable waterbreathing. If anybody links to a high-grade mod pertaining to the first list, I'll place a green asterisk by it. Medium grade will be yellow and low-grade (hardly compatible) will be red. This way others will know which ones I'm still looking for. *** Blue star means it's a high-grade alternative. * Purple asterisk means exceptional grade, meeting optional requests or doing something I like but didn't expect. * Said stars will be hyperlinked if possible (obviously, adult mods will not be linked).
