Can't enter S.T.A.R.S office

Playing with just a few mods from here and using WeMod. I am not that far into the game using WeMod just for infinite ammo. I am trying to get into the

STARS office (not the armory) but I cannot cross the threshold. The door opens but I cannot walk in the office. I need to get in there to get the battery

to progress the game. I have loaded a previous save but that didn't work. I have started a new game but that didn't work. I am using XBOX controller

and I have pushed every button on it trying to get in. I googled the problem but all the answers point getting in the Armory. I asked on Steam but no

one had a clue. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing it or to force Claire into the room? Thanks.

And if I have Steam verify the game files, do I have to install the mods again?
