syohh
Hi, I'd be interested in a mod that makes the hands of the character in first person view lower than the default setting. Something like this already exists for Skyrim ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26764 ) With high FOV, you can see the ends of character's hands which feels out of place, would such a mod be easy enough to make?Or can I easily edit the position in config files?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pellape
I do not know really. It is a difference between Oblivion and Skyrim for sure, what happens in the background and when it comes to editing stuff, I think Oblivion has more in common with Morrowind then with Skyrim in many ways, at least at the CS structure. If I make a guess, I think it is the KF files that needs to be edited as when we zoom in and out, the weapons are at the same position. KF is the animations and I have only made animations ones, during the period I learned Blender 14 years ago... I do not mind to use such a mod myself as just look at the little finger of your char as it is hidden inside the hilt of all weapons, well at least that is what I noticed yesterday. I read the description and I am on the right tracj as he did edit the "_1stPersonskeleton.nif" and also make changes in ini files and I do not know if we have those settings in Oblivion. We do have this one: in SkyrimPrefs.ini:[General]fDefaultFOV=65 Mine is 75 in Oblivion.ini so maybe we should just try to set the same and see what happens?? ;) Edited December 6, 2020 by Pellape
