MidbossVyers
I noticed that even if you choose to Destroy the Dark Brotherhood, Cicero and the Night Mother are nowhere to be found. Could someone make a mod that after you complete Delayed Burial (Cicero is still essential there as not to break the quest) and Destroy the Dark Brotherhood, Cicero and the Night Mother show up at the Falkreath Sanctuary? Cicero will no longer be essential at that time and will attack on sight, like the other Dark Brotherhood members during Destroy the Dark Brotherhood, and the Night Mother, after opening up her coffin, will be burnable, like the Summerset Shadow flag during the Summerset Shadow quest in the Thieves Guild line. AlduinWorldEater
Babette is also absent. I suppose that in itself is due to Bethesda not wanting you to have to kill a "kid", even if she is a 300-something-year-old vampire. As far as Cicero and the Night Mother, I agree that this should be doable. I think, though, that what Bethesda is aiming at with this is: Before you start either of the DB questlines, Cicero is on his way to the sanctuary with the Night Mother's coffin. If you burn the sanctuary and kill everyone in it, then word gets around, and Cicero goes into hiding. Perhaps there's a way to script it so that you can track his sorry butt down and bash him around?
MidbossVyers
Cicero will only be hiding in 1 of the 2 Skyrim Sanctuaries, but you wouldn't know the Dawnstar password. You only know the Falkreath one because Maro has made a deal with Astrid. Also, killing individual Dark Brothers will not harm the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. Only burning the Night Mother's body will sever Sithis's connection to the mortal world.
firsTraveler
I hate this quest because it's just one battle. They should have done an entire quest line that has you stopping assinations, finding clues to the santuary location, leading up to a full attack. Now that would be a great mod. AlienSensei
Sounds great. I got an idea though to find out the password: After you destroyed the falkreath sanctuary, two things can happen; first, you get an optional quest to speak to Urag gro-Shub (The Orc in college of winterhold). He ask a few things and ask if you found any books (which will be an optional quest to do while destroy the dark brotherhood; which is called Plunder the dark brotherhood. You steal their stuff!) and then he asks you if you burned the night mother, (which would be mentioned in the books) and then tells you the password to the sanctuary. This will only be so if you plundered the books which can be found in ciceros diary. If not you will get attacked by a dark brotherhood assassin next time you save outside. She will be essential so when you damage her she will fall down and a conversation will be available. She'll scream the classic "I yield, I yield!" and then say "Please spare my life. I'll do anything!" then there will be an option so she will say the password to the sanctuary. Then you'll get an optional or yourself to wound up guards and troops or just go plunder yourself. While there, you will kill Cicero in a challening battle, then you'll get put fire on the night mother like said above. You'll hear a weird-daedric like scream and the night mothers voice, and then you blackout. You'll wake up on the floor like everything is normal, everything destroyed, and some guards sitting next to you. Yeah, that's about it. Maybe I wrote too much. But I'd like to see this. Sounds great!
MidbossVyers
I'm not comfortable with mods that are too complicated because that's what screwed up my Oblivion. Therefore, most of my mod requests have been fairly simple things, such as items and single quests (rather than quest lines).
