EffigyofDisgust
After spending some time at the northern coast of Skyrim (Hela's Folly, Japhet's Folly, Broken Oar Grotto etc.) I couldn't help but notice that Skyrim's oceans are sadly empty. This may stem from a certain affinity to the aquatic life in general, or from my affinity to the Monster Hunter Games. The whole sea is just so earily silent. I just think it needs some fish, and, keeping in theme with dragons etc., some apex predatorsLike this one:http://www.digitalgames.fr/wp-content/gallery/monsterhuntertrii/hunter5.jpgor maybe a Kraken:http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/050/c/1/kraken_attack_by_benwootten-d4qb1uh.jpgsimply to make the seas livelier and equally as dangerous, as the dragon-infested land. nakakita
There's this mod on the steam workshop. Can't find a nexus version.
AlienSensei
The water dragon pic... Damn, I've always wanted something like that! Not entirely lore friendly, but sounds damn awesome to me!And well, the mod "here there be monsters" is in my opinion not... that good. It actually mostly adds oversized monsters to the sea, and not too much new creatures. I want a real monster adder to the seas. I guess the modder could use creatures from skyrim monster mod? chromechris
The reason Bethesda did not put creatures in the ocean, is due to the fact that there is only the northern coastline.
Eyeball88
Considering how heavily whales play into the lore (whale bones in Sovengarde, whales as part of every single puzzle in every single Nordic dungeon) there's a distinct lack of whale. Skyrim needs whales in the oceans. And whaling stations. And drunken whalers.
nightinglae850
Yea but theres also snake signs but no snakes as well, hmmmmmm maybe the cold waters of Skyrim is too harsh for whales
AlienSensei
I've always though sea of ghosts has it's mysterious name for a reason. Maybe they could add some ghosts that swim up from the water, or shipwrecks where you find them walking around and speaking normally like they were still alive, until you get too close. Oh, yeah, and like said above: Skyrim needs whales in the oceans. Yeah, that's the main thing I'd want. And real time moving ships, but then again that mod has already been added to steam workshop. He even added a ghost ship in sea of ghosts! That is some real awesomeness... and it actually moves around.
