tnu
I decided to start this thread to talk about the tropes in Oblivon mods that really annoy us. tos tart with mine personally Vampire Dens. WHY ARE THEY ALL DANK CAVES OR SEWERS?! My vampire charactre is kind a stuck up and he won't go near those sorts of palces unless he has to. it becoems annoying. really it does. now some people take a diffrent turn and make it an Alyied Ruin. thats not bad but whats with all the bloody caves? and ofcorse why are some of the UNDERWATER! anyone who's read Dracula knows thats a no no! My other one would be female armors. a night dress would offer more protection then someo f the stuff that you see on this site! and if your going ot make an armor make it for bothe genders. as well armors that require body mods. that just gets annoying. I want to be able to use my vanilla body witha n armor.

tnu
Its a matter of personal prefrence. body mods to me are just bleh
bben46
I'm sure that some of the mods you can't live without are 'just bleh' to other players. That's what personal preference is. If everybody liked the same things, we would only need to have about a dozen mods. Or everybody would be happy playing the same console. Fortunately, everybody has a different idea of what they want and how they want their game to play. Wouldn't it be boring if everybody liked the same things? Cynster
you should set an example making new armor for vanilla bodies and also both genders :D

I want to be able to use my vanilla body witha n armor. When I built Vella den Keep I had a vampire character in mind. I wanted to be able to travel, as a vampire, underground to all the cities but I didn't want and "evil, dark vampire den" I tried to make it like any other town or player owned home but with vampire residents and shopkeepers. As far as reading Dracula, I don't remember him not being able to cross running water, I think that was in the Christopher Lee Dracula movies from the seventies, I may be wrong about though. I agree about the female armors. I've seen more cotton in an aspirin bottle than would be in some of those so called armors. Armor for females could have a little more to them. Sexy doesn't mean nude besides in real life sexy isn't a look, it's an attitude. Just my two cents.
Orionraven
Neverminding the sexy aspects of whatever armor mods-- Female only armor mods outnumber the Male/genderless armors 3 to 1. It gets annoying after a while when you're swamped with 300 hgec f cup armors to find 50 male related armor/clothes mods. Quite frankly, I don't see the need for some of the clothing mods that would have their characters better off not wearing anything. I have porn for that, and it can be put away faster then a female character walking around on a screen. But hey, my preference.

exanimis
no the water thing started in the Novel. but Sunlight is what stared in the movies. It's been a while since I read the book. The thing that I remember the most was the anti-climatic ending. We chased him here, we chased him there, we chased him some more and then we opened the coffin and killed hm. Awesome story for the time it was written but not much of an ending as compared to today's standards. Back on topic one of the worst things about Oblivion, to me is the lack of friends or housemates. The only house with someone in it is the Skingrad house. The others are empty and boring to me. I would like it if NPC's "visited you when you were in a house or if others lived there. Maybe if instead of a house you were given your own room in inns or guilds. Yes I know that there are some of these in the game but the houses are still boring after you've seen the furniture. In my own mod I plan on not having player owned homes but rather by performing a mini quest you will be invited to live with people in the town or area and given your own area of the house. I want to come home and wonder why this new person is here. I think that would add immensely to the depth of the game.
