Sony PSP

Does anyone here know the answer to this question:

With the Sony Playstation Portable [hereafter referred to as the PSP], will it be possible to connect to other PSP consoles wirelessly without being in a hotspot? In other words, must you be in a hotspot in order to connect wirelessly to other PSP consoles, even if they are within 30 feet? Or will any two PSP consoles be able to connect wirelesly without being in a hotspot?

Well Sony SUCKS!

The Nintendo DS (NDS) will win the war!

So what if the PSP has sightly (and i stress Slightly) better dev demos.

All the money in the world spent on games development wont chang the fact that the NDS can filp down and protect the scrren.

*Imagines* Buy PSP. Take home. Scratch Screen while in pocket* Starts :bye:

now for the NDS

*Imagines* Buy NDS. Take home. Folds in half to protect screen. Plays better games on an unscratched screen. :D

Personally, I think that I will like the DS better. But I'll still give the PSP a chance. Gran Turismo 4? Possibly a good Syphon Filter game? I'm game. The original Syphon Filter is one of the best games I've ever played.

*Sighs* The Nintendo DS will most likely not win. The PSP is what most people are getting more excited about. Even if the PSP screen does get scratched, you all seem like hard core Nintendo fans, so did that stop you from buying a GBA before GBASP? It had a "scratable screen". As for the Nintendo DS, it will fail. Though it will most likely come out with about 5-10 extremely good first party games, it will flop since it has two processors and screens. Most third party publishers hate having two processors, let alone two for each screen. I'm guessing that little fact will scare away about 90% of the third party game makers. Also you forget the first part of the name of this kind of gaming war. Portable gaming. That means it's supposed to be portable. Did you ever take a glance at how thick the screens of the DS are? Even when they are folded for "scratch prevention" they'll still be huge. As for wireless connectivity, Sony wants to keep the PSP's cost at highest at $150. I'm expecting there to be wireless connectivity (portable gaming, wires=evil) but it will have a very short range (about 10 ft. im guessing). This is all just a combination of my prediction on where portable gaming is going along with what sony said at E3.

OK, I don't know whether the DS will be better or not, but:

*Imagines* Buy PSP. Take home. Scratch Screen while in pocket* Starts  :bye:

*takes home PSP in protective bag, fails to scratch screen* :bleh:
