Devil May Cry 5

Help with dynamic music modding

Hey all I just recently started modding with DMC5 and I'm starting out with attempting to mod dynamic music, specifically Devil Trigger.

I've been following the stuffs that I can understand under these links that I found in some other thread;

https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10211/method-audio-modding

https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10415/modding-changing-points-adding-longer

So far I'm doing alright, I've edited out the music I want to use to fit in the length of the bits of Devil Trigger and so far it's doing great... aside from one or two things.

Most of the music I've replaced with the .wem files are working, except for two of them. The encounter music works well, the D-B music ranks plays, though the loops aren't smooth but that's something I can hopefully work on by trimming my music. A rank build up music is good, the A to S rank transition, as well as the S rank musics are all playing normally....

Aside from the intro music (which apparently is also used in transitioning back from S to A and lower [The intro music is different from the encounter music, the intro music is when you start an attack or take damage]) as well as the opening after the intro which is the build up music before looping the songs under D - B ranks.

Well that's my problem right now, the rest seems to be working fine. If anyone has any idea with Dynamic Music modding I'd like to ask for your help. Thanks.

Have you been able to make any progress on modding the dynamic music? I think I have reached the stage you are at, however I am having issues with the different loops cutting out at seemingly random times. I am trying the route of replacing the wem files individually because I am actually modding in a song I made. I am able to easily edit the lengths and loop points before converting to wem files because of this as well, so none of the replacement wem files are larger than the original segments of Subhuman that they will be replacing. I also read under one of the few mods that actually replaces a dynamic battle track that the Vergil dlc rendered that mod dysfunctional. All the reference material I can find online for audio modding is from before the Vergil dlc was released, so that might be why our mods are not playing correctly in-game.
