Zapata935 Posted February 28, 2013 Share Posted February 28, 2013 Hi everyone, I have just gone through a week of hell trying to troubleshoot endless crashes of my beloved game. I can happily tell you that the culprit mod is the latest map marker overhaul by the nice one. Once I uninstalled this mod everything started working tickety boo, as it should. Having said that, the nice one has produced some fantastic mods for the community, and should not be carted off for execution immediately! What do you guys think? Lisnpuppy Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 Well considering I run that mod with well over 300+ mods (combined of course) with no issues....as it seems many, many others I am not sure you can say its a particular mods fault. Not to say people don't have issues but if you are having issues then bug reports go to the mod author. It may be the mod conflicts with another (not a fault of the mod) or there are load order issues or many other things. There seem to be some specific comments with installation instructions. I would usually install this mod with OBMM myself. That being said I am not entirely sure what you wish to accomplish with this thread. As I said if you are having issues then reading the mod comments and reporting issues (along with your load order) is often helpful. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lisnpuppy Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 I pointed out that you really didn't supply anything useful..like your load order, other mods, etc that could possibly show why you are having issues. That is almost always the first bit of info someone will ask you to provide when you are having issues. I didn't say this mod didn't have issues for some folks but you just came in and say it crashes your game and insinuate that something needs to be done about the mod itself. The proper place for these things is typically in the mod thread. I will have to disagree that I was on a high horse or pontificating (though that is a nice word, I think I will add it to my daughter's word of the day list.) and suggest you take another look at the forum rules and ToS http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules of this site. To me it seems this thread was not asking for help....as you didn't ask for help getting it work. A thread complaining about a mod not working and not asking for assistance...is not helpful to anyone. Perhaps you intent was to get help....but your manner of going about it seems lacking. I will keep this thread open for now to see if perhaps you would like to provide more information. Wyre bash and TES4 edit runs just as well for me as it does for you! You just assume I am an idiot because I have not read something. I now have to tell you what I think. A forum is a place where people can come and exchange information, ideas and experiences. If you and the other little jumped up corporals, pissed on power, want to turn it into a boot camp for online etiquette then you need to have a good long talk to yourself.
