Has the Recession hurt anyone here and If so is it still lingering ?

Well yeah you only have to look at the debt to see this isn't going to go away any time soon, had the right action been taken right at the start it would have been very painful but by now we'd be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, sadly it wasn't and still isn't so here we are, staring into the abyss. I just hope it doesn't end in bloodshed.

 

On the plus side people are being woken up from their slumber and are starting to see what's been done, in Europe new parties that aren't part of the established order are appearing and they're starting to do well, most aren't extremist either, they're just in touch with the people unlike the established parties. Sadly there are also a few unpleasant ones, the Greek Nazis for one, they're pretty frightening.
