futurepast
I'm a noob trying to follow a tut but I can't get Blender to import the .nif file used in the tut. What am I doing or not doing? edit: Well from another post about exporting I see I have a lot to learn... could someone in very simple terms because I am a slow learner explain how all the programs work together Blender 2.48aPython 2.5.2Blender NIF Scripts 2.3.13PyFFI 1.1.
pandur
Open Blender, go to File,Import,NetImmerse/Gamebryo (.Nif) http://pic.leech.it/t/8226d/0f10794b5791.jpg select you Nif File (select it with left mousclick and then make a right mouseklick you see your file is in the datatree market!!!) http://pic.leech.it/t/4b98e/c54e1efcc662.jpg then go to the button Import Nif and press it.See at the Screen my options to import and take it. http://pic.leech.it/t/115cb/db170cbdf73.jpg Then press the ok Button, thats all. I think your problem is,you have forget the rightclick with the mouse of the Nif file.

LHammonds
NIF Exporting is not quite there yet like it is with Oblivion. There are at least two methods of getting your models in-game that I know about: 1. Export as an Oblivion NIF and use NifSkope to copy/paste the NiTriStrips from the Oblivion NIF to an existing Fallout NIF. 2. Export as an OBJ and use NifSkope to import the OBJ into an existing Fallout NIF. Both methods require an existing Fallout NIF and NifSkope to do the manipulation of the NIF file.
