[MOD REQUEST] 1handed sword

Hello,

 

I don't know about everyone else but it was a big disappointment that the game does not include One-handed swords.

 

I realise it not possible to actually create one handed swords from nothing. But maybe there is a way to change the size/scale of the two handed swords to make them look like a 1handed sword?

 

I also realise that it might cause a tweak when the character use it alone, but i think it would look good when you dual wield it.

 

So there you go, does anyone think it might be possible ?

Maybe even replacing axes with one handed sword models? or even resized two handed swords. I know the animations might look wonky but i feel like most people could look past that.

You could just make the daggers longer to look like swords.. the axes are fine.. and the kills with the daggers you could pass off with a sword too. :)

i was wondering if any one would be able to replace a 2 hand sword model with the sword sigurd uses. I believe leoffrech or what ever his name is, the boss u fight at the end of the sons of ragnar story, also uses this sword. A custom, better, or more realistic looking greatsword would be welcome as well. or if any one knows hot to place this model in the carolinigian sword or the doppelhander swords place and is willing to explain how to do this id be very greatful. how many greatswords are in this game? ive seen 4. excalibur, the 2 i mentioned, and scintar from the online store. They all look like s#*! in my opinion. Sigurds actually looks pretty good. Why did they give us these retarded looking swords. They look like they were meant to be 1 hand swords but at the last minute some one turned up the slider by 300%. I also notiiced some of the weapons get much larger after u draw them . The hammer quadruples in size at least.

Most of the enemies use one handed swords so the models are in the game. Would be ideal to use that if possible. Also would be cool if it was possible to have the main handed sword be sheathed on the left hip as if it were the off hand weapon.

I'd honestly be happy with a simple model replacer on a few of the one handed axes, most of the moveset and executions would work with a sword anyway.

I 'd be happy with two handed sword if there was a way to dramatically increase the speed.

I tried using haste runes, but it's not fast enough.

 

I don't think a "simple" model remplacement would do.

If you replace an axe model, it will look upside down when sheathed, but I guess it could be viable if you hide your weapon.

If you replace a dagger model, it would still act like a dagger. (whoes gameplay I don't like)

 

But the idea to replace an existing weapon is a good one.

I belive it should be possible to replace the model and the weapon type. (I've seen the weapon type in Cheat Engine. I'm pretty sure it is used by the game to define the animations.)
