EDIT : When I added 'Wrye Bash', 'Oblivion' & 'OBSE' to the exceptions list for the 'Data Execution Prevention' I still get the same BEX crash but slightly different values for the 'Additional Information' i.e.

Hi Oblivionaddicted,

Thank you for offering your help .....

Oblivion, seems to be behaving itself... for now... with no more BEX crashes.

The problem seemed to resolve itself, when I unplugged a USB flash drive.

This USB (128GB) drive is a little faulty..... I am guessing that for some reason when Oblivion was loading, for reasons unexplained it was using this USB drive as a memory buffer to temporarily hold the loading data, and the BEX crash happened due to a "Buffer Overflow" .... the data being sent to the USB drive, was being corrupted by the USB drive, or the USB drive was freezing up unable to accept or send the temporary loading data......

....My explanation could be completely wrong... just guessing at this stage. All I know is when I unplugged the USB drive, the BEX error is gone
