DavidWolf
Well ... I take this clothes texture, re-make it with a new custom logo I made on photoshop. Now! I know the old CS method to add a new Item on the Objects List, then Import .nif etc ... doesnt work to me in GECK! I copy and place in a new directory this .nif file, and the custome texture in a new folder too. I need help, if someone knows what i am doing wrong tell me o maybe some tutorial that already exist to do this. : ) seeya
lvlingownag
Okey doke. This is what you need to do. Open BSACMD, and unpack the meshes archive. Find the original CB knife. Minimize this window. Open your knife in NifSkope, and find the option to apply your texture. When done, make a backup of the old knife, and save the new knife under the original combat knife name. Open GECK, find the CB knife under weapons\weapons, right click and select EDIT. Go to the tab art and sound. select the EDIT button next to model. Choose your knife. Click OK down the bottom of the window. THis will make the weapon in the open world yours. Unfortunately, because i am ok at this, but still quiet new to this, i do not as of now know how to make the 1st person view your knife. When i find out i'll let u know. Save your esp, and open it in FO3 and Voila! New CB Knife! Well, partyl, not in 1st person :wallbash:
DavidWolf
Thanks but I do believe that is for retexturing the f3 meshes, what I need is get this custom clothes I have into the GECK, for some reason doesnt work, most clothes and other items works well if you just do a re-texturing job BUT I AM TALKING ABOUT NEW MESHES - NEW OBJECTS : ) Seeya. deliverance6
make sure all you're bone rigging etc is correct by looking at an original f3 mesh first. then, go to the armor tab in the GECK. right click on the list and select "new" then set you're object ID etc and choose you're .nif file. make a Texture Set for it under the "Misc" menu and apply those.
