NVSE Issue

Hello I am a recent subscriber on the Nexus site/Forums and I love the High Quality and High Imerssion mods for New Vegas and I have just recently downloaded The New Vegas Pipboy Readius by Alexscorpion that turns the standard pipboy into a PDA, and I had previously downloaded and activated the NVSE V2 which is required to use the mod. I have both mods active however when I launched my game it instantly went to an error screen saying that NV Readius has been installed but NVSE hasnt and to shut down my game without saving! The NVSE is in the Unspecified folder of NMM as it's the file that NMM placed it in, I can live without this mod but would like to know what may be wrong with it and i do not deny it could be my fault as this is the first SE I have downloaded. Thanks for any and all help.

 

 

Note: I have both of those active as well, I will be trying a launch directly from my game file as I hadn't previously, but again any help will be much appreciated

NVSE needs to go in the games root folder, the one with the FalloutNV.exe in it. Start the game by running the NVSE_Loader.exe.

You'll probably want the 4gb patch off the NVSE site as well, in that case run the game from FNV4GB.exe, it will run NVSE as well and prevent crashes whilst running on high settings and/or lot of mods.

Thanks for the help I only wish that all downloads especially complex ones like this would be managed and downloaded by NMM I can do Manual downloads, copy and extract and the whole nine yards but you always run the risk of screwing something up when doing it that way and for people who dont know how to do the manual downloads it's torture for them. But anyway thanks again for the help, Now all I need to do is figure out why I cant finish Niners companion quest, it's driving me crazy
