Mercbird
... or is my brain fried and in need of sleep First, thank you Baphomet and Theta Orionis for extreme patience with newbies and Marxist male without a father for the cleaning act. I had been using Zip Genius and added Win RAR to my repertoire. The error message is " meshes\b\BL_khajiit_F_wrist.nif( or arm on occasion)" Discovered no BL folder in meshes\b re-extracted and replaced every mod using first Zip Genius (which I used originally) and stil not found .did the same using win RAR, still nothing. Uninstalled Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon and reinstalled.zero. Searched my mod achive using Zip G and win RAR. no such luck. Searched my entire C drive including hidden folders and archives.included drives F&R and the server.Fired up the construction set and is now in the process of wading through each mod.For body parts. But my conclusion is that it is something simple, as in the file not being included in the mod.And I know it will be in the the batch before learned try each separately, I suspect Metal Queen B v2 or somesuch that fiddle with meshes, as most of my downloads were adventures and quests. The lost heir required a Nerevarine and this was my only game close to nerevarinishness and was backed before achieving that status. but I cannot do it again. If any one anywhere know where those files are or who made them, please have mercy on my game, all I want is to walk through the Ascadian Iles with Mark (who has been transformed into a nord tall enough to kiss- and no the error started before that) Or I could free all the slaves... Marxist ßastard
What you will likely get from other forum members, if they do not fall into the small number of people who have had your problem and resolved it, is the suggestion of loading up your plugins one-by-one and seeing when an error comes up. Such would be the "suck-it-and-see" approach, which will only waste time. Instead, get a text or hexadecimal editor -- WinHex is good for this purpose, but UltraEdit or even Notepad will suffice. Open every ESP and ESM file in your Data Files directory using this application -- simultaneously, if this option is avaliable to you -- and search the files for the text "b\BL_khajiit_F_wrist.nif." Naturally, once you get a hit, you should download -- or redownload -- the latest version of the plugin. If that doesn't work, the only thing left is to decide if this plugin is worth putting a dummy file in place of the missing mesh. ...Oh yes, and flattery gets you nowhere. PierreBeauregard
Also, there are utilities that you can download that will list all the dependent art files in any plugin. They can help you sort out your problems with missing nifs and whatnot. You might also want to organize your icons/meshes/textures files by packing the stuff from each plugin into its own bsa file. I have a post about that that you can search for. Also, your warnings.txt files in your morrowind directories will tell you which mod needs the missing art file. That way you can just get rid of that mod, or delete the bad entry in that mod. Or you could copy khajiit_F_wrist.nif from the construction set to the missing folder and rename it to BL_khajiit_F_wrist.nif. It won't be the *exact* same nif, but should be close enough so that it'll stop complaining.
