Help me pick some mods to get started with, please.

I installed the OBMM, Oblivion Script Extender, Duke "Something's" (no disrespect) Archery mod, Female Eye Candy, and Beautiful People.

I basically want to improve Oblivion's graphics a bit, add to the atmosphere in whatever cool ways I can. Add to the game world in various and fun ways, have my character and NPCs look good (no disrespect to the vanilla game - I have spent thousands of hours playing it).

I am new to PC gaming, and modding my game (with other people's created mods), but so far it has been easier than I built it up to be. The beautiful people mod didn't seem to do what I hoped it owuld. The default face creator is the same unless I choose a new race which I do not want to do. So I need something for faces, animations, and stances, etc. on top of everything I mentioned. Could you people recommend some mods that will work well together, please?

Thank you very much for your time, and I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this. Cheers.

First of all, you'll want BOSS, the Better Oblivion Sorting Software, (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/20516) as well as the Unofficial Oblivion patches (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/5296), which both serve to give you a lot less headaches.

For prettier looking people, I strongly suggest getting both Natural Faces (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/1965) and Enayla's facial textures (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/9534), combined they make most everybody look like actual people, rather than vanilla's monkey people.

For adding to the environment, I strongly recommend the Unique Landscapes mods (there's a whole bunch of them, but there's a very convenient OMOD compilation here - http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/19370, as well as Better Cities, http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/16513, both of which do wonders to revitalise and add onto Cyrodiil. There's also All Natural http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/18305 which does a great job in bringing the world to life in slightly subtler ways. The thread Striker posted, even though I've never seen it before, seems like a very good thing to look through as well, upon a quick glance.

Wanna try my mod? It didn't get enough feedback for me to continue because I called it version 0.1.1, and the screenshots were very poor choices to illustrate what scripted birthsign humanoids do in combat, and pretty much the nutty wordiness of the description. In short, all humanoids get birthsigns at random and they are scripted to use these birthsign powers in combat with whoever is their enemy. The powers that I finished, anyway.
