GirlGamer55
Just started remodding Fallout 3 again, haven't touched it for a few years. So I installed some of the better known mods, just to start out...get to level 5 or so and then start adding some other mods. I installed FWE, MMM and a few others. Starting out I picked FWE's alternative start option, did my character cration and then went to bed. The game crashed. I tried it again, it crashed again. So ok...let's try the normal way..I get to the escape part where you help Butch's mom out. The damn rad roaches are invisible ffs. The rad roach that first guard kills isn't but the three killing Butch's mom are. Besides that, I have no FWE menu to toggle and change options...like having karma. Obviously FWE is doing something...I installed it wrong or whatever. But why are those rad roaches invisible? Anyways here's my load order in case anyone see's any issues. And could someone tell me how to properly install FWE and the other mods I have using NMM? FOMM no longer works for me, so I can't follow the install instructions for those mods. M48A5
You should try to locate Gopher's videos. Just go to Fallout 3 News and page down and you will come to them. He has a series for modding FO3 and it includes one on how to install FWE with NMM. Also, you should be using BOSS to set your load order. Streetlights.esm belongs above Broken Steel. You should try to arrange your mods in the same order as the vanilla game, but compatibility patches should load after the main files. Meaning MMM-FWE and EVE-FWE should load after FWE. Dweedle
Gophers vids are good at installing the most basic common mods. Ignore BOSS, it is not necessary for Fallout 3 just create your load order manually by reading what your modifications do and what their masters are. This saves headaches. Then use Fallout 3 edit to ensure a stable load order, I see no merged patch so I can assume this is likely a load order issue.
