Missing custom heads- what did I forget?

Hi everyone. I replaced my old dinosaur PC which could barely run my heavily modded Morrowind game and am having fun with Oblivion.

I'm finding in character creation some heads identified as Eyecandy dark elf or other races aren't appearing. I have Exnem's Eyecandy with underwear installed (hey, I have kids who play) along with a variety of other mods. I assume I'm missing some mesh or another. I installed it with Oblivion Mod Manager and the mod is green lighted in the right upper window of the MM screen.

Any advice for troubleshooting/fixing this would be appreciated.

The Exnem Eyecandy body (though you should use the HGEC successor instead, the original Exnem's is deprecated) does not include heads. At all. It is purely a body replacer.

Since you have given almost no information, no I do not.

Care to be vastly more specific? Also load order.

There is no eyecandy dark elf that I know of. The hgec is a body replacer, and it will replace the bodies of all humanoids. So, an 'eyecandy dark elf' is simply a normal dark elf, the very same, in the race menu. The only difference is that since you installed hgec they are now using the hgec body.

No, it will not be moot because you still don't seem to be grasping that body replacers do not affect heads. At all.

 

As for Load Order in the mods tab in Wrye Bash, Right-click where it says "File" and select "List Mods", then copy and paste into a post.

I'm uploading the screen shots I took showing the missing heads and/or textures identified as High Elf Female (eye candy) and Breton Female (eye candy).

I agree a body replacer replaces bodies and not heads, but I can only assume Eye Candy mod inserted eye candy races.

I was planning to replace Eye Candy with HGEC. I hope it won't mess up any saves. A save with a female characte crashed on loading when Eye Candy was unchecked.

I have no idea what that Eyecandy - Content.esm does.

 

You made it sound like you had just installed the Eyecandy Body Replacer, but you've done significantly more than that. Where did you even get it?
