wardoggwyllgi
Previously i found a mod that removed balgruf and replaced the whiterun guard with some stormcloaks that follow your commands.woudln't it be possible to have a mod in which you can kill a jarl and have all his men replaced with new guards that you can upgrade via a new steward (who stays where you put him by marking a home) and through him you get crime reports, issue decrees, and arm your guards.crime is probably the easiest it's just the chance to have a random encounter of a killer or theif spawning in your home. it might also control the chance of DB being sent to kill you by who ever you killed's liege (ulfric or tullius or no one in the case of whiterun)Arming your guards may be the most difficult as you would need to offer support for modded armors or weapons, upgrading guards would work on a weapon armor seperation and could cost hundreads of thousands of dollars depending on what decrees are in action. this would be needed because you could be able to align the city with a larger power or stay independant.decrees increase thing like monthly taxes, weather or not your guards know magic or if you just have some battle mages among your guard, the demograpics of randomly generated villagers, or what gods are worshipped (daedra, aedra, ancient nordic, or skaal) while these wouldn't effect much early on, they provide interest and give the mod time to grow, which is important because i've seen tons of interesting mods die because they tried to go to space in the stone ages instead of taking it slow like minecraft. wardoggwyllgi
im not doing heavy lifting yet i'm brand new to the whole creation kit thing i just wanted to know if it would make sense because something might sound simple but someone else has probably tried it before but couldn't do it for some strange reason, like automatic variants for weapons and armors.
