Guest deleted829424
I seem to have downloaded a mod that messed up the eyes in my game. It turns all the characters in game, besides my own, to have a weird black or crooked eye texture. Screenies below. I'm not sure which mod this is.If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated! http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b342/kel...ScreenShot7.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b342/kelvin1262/ScreenShot6.jpg
Ayda
If it's a recent problem, I would go into your data folder, and sort the mods by date modified, and look at the most recent ones that were installed, then try disabling those mods before you start up Oblivion, one at a time, to see which one might be causing the problem. herosinger
If you just installed a mod that adds eyes, I'm sure that mod is the culprit. The problem is that there are several different eye meshes used by modders, and each has a different UV map. In other words, they are not compatible with each other. SavageArtistry
*facepalm* It strikes again! (Ren's eye textures from some version of Beautiful People applied to vanilla eye meshes.) You've got clashing cosmetic and/or race mods. You need to choose just one. If you choose the cosmetic mod you probably then need to make sure any races you install do not use vanilla eye meshes. dezdimona
Beautiful people cause a lot of us problems, thats one reason I no longer use it!
SavageArtistry
I think the easiest solution is to just reinstall Beautiful People. Something you installed after it has overwritten the eye meshes with vanilla style ones.
Guest deleted829424
Er... I've not heard of this Beautiful People mod until now. I just installed natural faces, so would that be it?
dezdimona
Er... I've not heard of this Beautiful People mod until now. I just installed natural faces, so would that be it?your using too many cosmetic mods, and the eye problem comes from mapping that doesn't match.Try eliminating one at a time till problem disappears. Also eye maps come in custom races and that may be a cause also.but not knowing what mods your using makes it difficult to say which it might be. Guest deleted829424
I'm only using cosmetic comp.
SavageArtistry
I'm only using cosmetic comp. Whatever it is that you are using that installs a new race, or new hairs and eyes, try either removing it or reinstalling it over itself and see if that helps.
