Bergzore Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 (edited) Hi guys. So, what I'm looking for is the dual cast effect that modifies casting cost. I know of the damage multiplier for the spells, but I would like to lower the casting cost multiplier [2.8] instead of raising the damage multiplier. Thanks to anyone who can help.Again, I'm looking for the casting cost modifier, not the damage modifier. Edited March 8, 2013 by Bergzore
Bergzore Posted March 8, 2013 Author Posted March 8, 2013 Sorry for bumping... I'm just desperate to find this out. I won't bump anymore after this.Anybody at all?I'm looking for the dual cast data in the Creation Kit that affects casting cost modification. I know where the damage modification is. I'm looking for casting cost.*crosses fingers
Bergzore Posted March 8, 2013 Author Posted March 8, 2013 There are several mods that adjust it, so I would assume it's in the creation kit somewhere.Either way, I just want to know where that variable is.
noobax Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I dont think the CK can edit it. However, with TESVEdit you can. Load up the mod you want to change the stuff in, then when its loaded, open up skyrim.esm, look for Game Settings, then look for fMagicDualCastingCost. Right click it, click on the second Copy--- option, then confirm you want to edit it when the popup comes out. Dont change the ID. Next, just tick the mod you want it in, then click on. Do the same for fMagicDualCastingEffectivenessblahblah. Now, go to these two thingies in your mod. Look at the left window, the Values for these two should be greyed. Right click it, edit, then change to whatever you want
Bergzore Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 Wow! Thank you so much! I didn't think anyone was going to answer... Going to try this soon. Thanks again.
Bergzore Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 Actually, apparently you can change it in the CK as well. If you go to the Gameplay drop down>Settings, then just find the fMagicDualCast variables.
noobax Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Really? Weird, i couldnt find it in the ck. Anyway, nice find, makes things much easier too
