Legend323232
This is ridiculous, i know we're modding but why do the issues that come up have to be so stupid. Its never just hey trun your firewall off or, remove this mod, or something simple. It always has to be track a monkey across aftica, fart on mt. Everest, get punched by mike tyson four times, turn right, restart your computer and notepad being open on your destop was problem all along. Why can i create a character player completely fine, but when i turn off the game and try to load that game it crashes? Edit: it appears I've found papyrus logs, doubt they'll be of help. Shadeybladey
What happened to my earlier comment? I understand how frustrating it can be, although I am glad to see that you deleted most of your nonsense. The papyrus logs probably won't help, as they record what happens in-game and likely won't capture what causes the crash as the game is no longer running at that point. Check that your loadorder.txt and plugins.txt match and have all the same mods listed, and that there is no mod in either that is not in your mods folder. They do not have to be in the same order in each file. In fact, one will be a list of mods and the other sorted for optimal loading. My DLCList.txt is always empty as I do not want automated mod updates as that can break a stable game. I manually sort, never use a Mod Manager and use either LOOT of BOSS and then check my load order manually, as neither are perfect. I check the contents of these files by pasting the contents of each into Excel and sorting both columns alphabetically and independently of each other. Then I can see if anything is missing, or if something is there that shouldn't be. Removing or deleting a Mod from your mods folder which is still listed in these files will cause a crash on loading. Also, when you load the game, play off-line and launch the game using the SKSE link. If you use the default launcher, your sorted mod list can get scrambled. You should also check that your system can handle ~200 mods and that the mods are compatble with each other and that they are designed for the version of Skyrim you are running. And also that you have an optimised load order. The best way to get useful help is to remain calm, rather than venting on the forum, and to post your PC specs and mod list. Refusing to list them just because there are so many is rather churlish. Put the mod list in spoiler tags. PCCPUCardGPURAM Mod List. Let us know when you've fixed it!
