The Humana Ads

Okay. I don't mind much about the ads in general. There's one category of ad that drives me crazy, however; the unavoidable inconvenience. One example would be anything that dislodged us from Skyrim as their alt-tab issues are more legendary than Oldrim.

 

Another, much less theoretical one is the title of this alert; the Humana ads. Once again we have a company whose ads keep trying to play sound regardless. The mute kicks in after a half to a full second, but it keeps pressing on every time Humana loops back around.

 

I like to keep the Nexus open for update checks and to see if anything new is in my interest. FIX the ads, please. If Humana can't be bothered to stay in the advertisers' version of Terms and Services the company has no place on the Nexus roster.

P.S.: Buzzing Fly, Flushing Toilet, and AdChoices, in general, are incredibly annoying ads that have stalked my fanfiction reading for the past two decades. Thankfully the first two gave up after a few years but AdChoices is more persistent. So this is a persistent gadfly for me)

We do not have direct controls over the ads as we get them from our ad provider.

 

As for the issue you are describing: could it perchance be connected to your browser or browser plugins you are using? Please see our guide on troubleshooting website issues for more details.

 

I suspect we would have had many reports about this if it were a widespread issue - not to say it's not annoying, but maybe it's down to your local configuration?
