CTD when entering Haelga's Bunkhouse

Relatively New to Modding but have installed around 40 mods or so. I installed them using Vortex. Early on in a play through started to get an issue where i CTD every time i entered Haelga's Bunkhouse during one of the first thieves guild quests. So read up a bit more and realised i should be using LOOT to handle load order and dentify any missing compatability patches and used SSEedit when recommended Fixed all of that and everything looked fine (no warnings in LOOT) so launched a new game and checked that i could enter Haelga's Bunkhouse at start (i could) . Few hours in to this new playthrough and started to experience the same issue. I have'nt been able to work out which mod is causing the problem and if there is any way i can save this playthrough Anyway my modwatch link is below and will post start of papyrus crash logs (can post full log if it helps).

Just FYI, saying things like 'MO2 is better than Vortex' is an excellent way to start a fight around here, lol.

 

Papyrus logs aren't very useful for troubleshooting crashes, they are more for debugging than anything else.

 

The only thing that jumps out at me is, you had trouble entering the Haelga's Bunkhouse, after you started the TG questline, and you have a mod that edits the TG (AllThievesGuildJobsConcurrently.esp). Looking at the mod page, nobody else seems to have encountered this issue, so it's either; that mod is conflicting with something else in your load order or, my guess is wrong. I would start by loading up your entire load order in TESVEdit, and check to see what mods make edits to Haelga's Bunkhouse and the NPCs that live there, and try working backwards from there.

 

If that doesn't get you anywhere, another thing to try would be to disable AllThievesGuildJobsConcurrently.esp, start a new game for testing, and see if the problem persists.

Thanks for response, My assumption was that general consensus was pretty clear over which was better, but best to shut up and remove, lol.

Anway that was a useful tip and gave me a good starting point to start digging in. After alot of trial and error i've found i can actually been able to get rid of the by disabling lordship.esp (Build Your Own City - Becoming a Lord). A number of people have raised this on that mod's page so go there if you want to use it (i'm just gonna disable it).

Just goes to show you never can be sure what is causing your problem sometimes. Glad you got it figured out.
