Well, one of the advantages of classical music is that (at least in Italy) not many people listen to it anymore, or at least not as much as they listen to other more modern genres, and so while a pop CD may cost up to around 22 Euros (27 USD), a classical music CD can be bought at a price as cheap as 5 Euros (6.22 USD)... so it's not that great a sacrifice to actually BUY a classical CD every now and then instead of... er... listening to it on online radios!

I dunno. I think its ok but i mostly listen to everything except country i really dislike coutrny music. lol and theres alot of irony behind that becasue i live right by we fest and can hear the music perfectly. when i was younger i used to love blink 182 lol now there ok and i listen to whatevers on mtv, but sadly rap music is taking over mtv.

i am a sax player who plays jazz rack alternitive and classical. so i like it.

I don't like every composers of classical music as I don't like every rock or pop band. My favourite composers are:

 

- Paul Hindemith (ever listened to "Mathis der Maler"? Truly genious)

 

- Johann Sebastian Bach

 

- Peter Tshaiskowsky

 

- Jean Sibelius

 

- Claude Débusy

 

- Ludwig van Beethoven

 

- Richard Strauss

 

There also some modern composers, mostly film music, I like very much. I admire Ennio Morricone for his sometimes really genious music, mostly for the music of "Once upon a time in the West".

Danny Elfman. Sure, it's pseudo-classical, but it's still good. Like the MIB theme, As well as the Simpsons, Futurama, as well as other various movies/shows...

I know about classical music because I used to play the Viola. I like it but I don't usually go out of my way to listen to it. I like classical music that is very relaxing and I like DMX and other heavy sounding rap that gets my blood flowing. I like heavy stuff in the morning because I have low blood pressure and if I listen to some stuff before I get out of bed I don't get all light headed and pass out. Man, I need to go to the Doctor and get myself examined. sorry bout the OT.

but i don't listen to it...(not my thing)
