Disabling the 'Sun Spin' in the CK?

I've poked around with a lot of the sun values in game settings, but nothing seems to actually effect this. If you don't know what I'm talking about, the sun 'spins' with the character, making it IMPOSSIBLE to use any sun texture with detail.

 

I'm just curious if anyone knew of a work around for this. ^_^

Seriously? That's silly. You can't even see the spin with the vanilla sun, and this mod I'm working on works perfectly minus the spin, I was hoping there was a quick fix...

 

I do like the idea of using scripts to make things appear in the sky though! Could I do the same thing to cycle several moons through the sky each night? Like say, one each night, adn each night it;s a different one.

Really how much resources does it save to make something spin instead of leaving it exactly the same, yet stationary? I assumed the sun worked exactly like the moons, it just seems really silly to me to create something totally different for basically the exact same thing.
