PenitentExile
Hello! I'm starting a follower mod. And question emerged in my head - can followers leave your service on certain events? Let's say, a guy somewhere in Solitude got drunk, and because of that my follower leaves my service, explaining that he needs to go. Is this even posible in CK? IsharaMeradin
Theoretically possible. Hired followers will leave your service if you tell them to wait some where and do not return to them after a certain amount of time passes (typically 3 in-game days). I think all you would need to do is trigger the follower to initiate some dialog when conditions are right and remove them from service when the player acknowledges them. You could probably even have various reactions based upon player response.
PenitentExile
Thanks for explaining! When I get to that point - I'll give it a try
thumbincubation
You might look at the mechanics of how they leave, when you commit certain crimes (if their AI is no crime), as well as how they leave when you pick up Farkas to begin the Companions quest into Dustman's Cairn. If you haven't dismissed them, you'll just get the message that they've left your service.
